Had a 3 day course here, lovely place. Food is top quality. Grounds beautiful, tranquil and quiet. Not too expensive. Well worth a stay and ideal for romantic getaways.
Stunning location beautiful room with a team for whom nothing is too much trouble. Of special note Front of House for assisting with jump leads when my car decided it wanted to stay longer than I could and the kindest lady who arranged for a single croissant to be freshly baked and served with my coffee. Thank you.
Beautiful venue for a wedding with stunning scenery. Rooms are basic but comfortable..they could do with a bit of love. I Would definitely recommend as a wedding venue.
The staff are great and very professional. The rooms are of a good quality and the food is very nice. The hotel grounds are very picturesque. There is a gym in the hotel. It's a great hotel and certainly worth booking.
I have been to this venue for the third consecutive time this Xmas with my female neighbours, of which there were ten of us this year. .We had an enjoyable evening, but mainly because we enjoyed each others company, and the music and dancing were good. The food was extremely poor this year, even worse than last year. The roast potatoes were probably peeled and initially cooked at the beginning of the week. By Friday they were worn out from being reheated, and were inedible! The sprouts would probably have been better served straight from the cannon! The staff were excellent however, very attentive and courteous.I had my wedding here 11 years ago, and certainly had no complaints then. Whist I appreciate that catering for such large numbers is difficult, it is better to cater for less well, than many poorly. I know its all about numbers, but guests are entitled to expect value for money!
