Good location, very good breakfast, rooms very basic, but comfortable, good wife.

This hotel was ridiculously cheap, (52 for a double room) so I thought the rooms must be a little shabby. But how wrong I was. It was clean, had a power shower the breakfast was included in the price and the bed was so comfortable, never slept better, lovely pillows and duvet too. The reception staff were very friendly, and there's a pub/bar attached to the hotel. Will most definitley stay here again, especially at such a fantastic price for what they offer. 10 out of 10.

I've only ever given the Raven glowing reports in the past This time was different though I've moved up to Derbyshire now, myself and the Wife went back down to Hook to visit my family on Boxing Day We had a Dog Friendly Room and we shut the Dogs away 'in their crate' when we went to my Grandparents:- unfortunately we took a bit longer than planned, my Grandad got rushed into Hospital and was diagnosed with Pneumonia. The fact my Grandad passed away 'on Boxing Day 2018' had nothing to do with the Raven, however, - the fact my Dogs' barked a bit would have been mine and the Wife's fault - the fact we were told we couldn't stay at the Raven and the fact I had to drive over 2 & a half hours home (we got home at 01.26am) was because the Raven chucked us out (after my 84 year Old Grandad got rushed into Hospital & was diagnosed with Pneumonia)I can understand that our Dogs barking disturbed other guests, like I did on the day, I apologise for that. I cannot believe that the Raven have not refunded me:- after kicking me out and making me drive home 'at 10.30pm' on Boxing Day (when my Grandad got rushed into Hospital).Like I said in my first sentence, I've only ever had glowing reports about the Raven in the past I would happily remove this negative comment 'if I'm refunded(for being made to drive home 'on Boxing Day' at 10.30pm after my Grandad was diagnosed with Pneumonia)'. If I don't receive a refund (I didn't plan for my Grandad to die on Boxing Day), then I'll leave this 'TRUTHFUL' comment up!!!

We've been here twice now. Excellent value for money, nice rooms, nice staff and quiet. Pub attached so a good all round package with plenty of free parking.

The raven hotel in hook Hampshire is well run, clean, tidy, food very good. Staff are very helpful. Room's comfortable with big beds big T.V. for the price you will get more than you pay for.
