Perfect for us! We are overnight late arrivers and early leavers so the 'help yourself' breakfast in the kitchen was ideal. Room was spotless with all the basics covered. Only odd thing was having to leave your key in the hall when going out.
Reasonable price for the area for good clean and friendly accommodation
I've stayed in several of the B&B's around Hook, but now always use Cherry Lodge when I'm staying in the area.+ The hostess is always friendly+ There's always rooms available so you don't have to book weeks in advance+ Breakfast is good - full English + cereal, toast, yogurt.+ The rooms are clean.+ You get a twin room for the price of a single+ The rooms are cheap.- The en-suite's are a bit old- The shower was cold one time (but hot every other time).I can't comment on the use of TV or DVDs as I don't use them.In conclusion, the only B&B I've tried in the area which is better than this is Oaklea - which is 50% more expensive.
