Went to view the hotel as a venue for our daughters wedding. Absolute first class presentation. As a result we hope to make a booking. Update! Made the booking, had the wedding...absolutely fantastic venue. Really professional. Thrilled with the outcome.
Great place for variety of occasions. Whether for a quick coffee or having your wedding its just a brilliant venue for all. As locals, we feel lucky to have such an amazing place near us.
Had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. Being Christmas season, the hotel was very well decorated. Hotel is bit isolated but once you get in the Staff are very warm and friendly. The hotel is on a huge estate so plenty of place for long walks. At the bar Dewan was very nice even did quick mulled wine for us. Loved the gesture of offering a bottle of water when we were leaving for airport.
Hubby and I had a spa day here on our Anniversary and birthday dinner with family.Spa facilities could be better, I do not like a separate relaxation room for male and female. Massages were professional and very relaxing but paying an extra 50 per hour for a couple suite was a bit much.The hotel, grounds, and restaurant decor and ambiance is amazing! Pure country side luxury relaxation! There are also lots of activities you can do and the concierge is very helpful and friendlyMAJOR PLUS is very DOG FRIENDLY, you can even ask for a dog sitter.
Restaurant staff, particularly the manager, was amazing. Super accommodating, considerate, and helpful. Hotel room - to be honest, was a little tired, didn't smell great, and was located directly above the entrance which meant it was noisy and one could smell the fumes from the cars parked outside. Spa - massage was very good. Pool - busy, but then again it was a summer weekend.Adventure park - be sure to explore the High Line park in the back!Overall, not bad, but the rooms do need a refurbishment.
