I bought my XC90 just over 2 months ago and a pleasant experience it was. Dealt with Rob whos a nice relaxed gent, very helpful and not at all pushy. You gotta go on a Sunday if you want to catch Rob, but its worth it. There was a great range of quality cars available to choose from - the most Ive seen under 1 roof. Its the 1st time weve owned a Volvo but a good choice for us. The car is going great, we needed a 7 seater and this is the nearest to a car that we could find. Its a pleasant drive, no problems lugging 6 people around in comfort and plenty of power for the job. Its big and still getting used to parking it and reversing, as been driving a Peugeot 207 for 4 years and such a difference. So glad we got it, with many more happy miles ahead.
A great experience from initial arrival on site with a warm and genuinely friendly welcome from Rob. He gave us all the time and freedom to explore numerous cars and drive the one that we eventually picked. The part exchange was handled respectfully and fairly and our new Volvo was ready to go as promised by Rob who took complete ownership of the procedure, right up to the point of collection when he took time to talk us through the vehicle controls.At no stage were we pressured in any way, instead, we were guided through the entire buying experience, right up to buying the tax online. Very impressed with Ravenscroft Volvo. It's the first time I've used them and I must say I was very satisfied with not only the selection of vehicles on sale, but the salesman I dealt with (Rob). On the day I visited the showroom (a Sunday), Rob stayed open passed closing time to allow me to take the car (I now own) for a test drive. Rob was very knowledgeable about the XC60 and took care of everything. I part exchanged my old vehicle which was very straight forward.
