Really lovely. Sunday roast was cooked like it had been cooked freshly for us. Fresh and the beef was cooked to perfection. Would recommend it and I will be going again. Good food in beautiful surrounds, with friendly staff and s good atmosphere
Fabulous restaurant. Staff are really bright cheerful and friendly. Combined with good food this makes for a memorable night out.
A nice pub restaurant in Mattingley village. The food and service is quite good. We went mid week and it was not very busy. Beers are around 4 and a 3 course meal cost around 35 each. They also do Christmas menu so a good place for Christmas parties. There is ample parking. If the prices were slightly lower or if they introduce some special offers this would be our regular restaurant.
Went with friends on Sunday evening for a meal. Despite being very busy the service was very good. They were still serving Sunday lunch which three out of the four of us had. Excellent. The beef melted in your mouth. Very good roast potatoes. Good variety of vegetables. Fine beans, mange tout and cabbage mixed. Mashed Swede and red cabbage. So much nicer than peas and carrots other establishments serve up. The other member of our group had a pie which was also excellent. The deserts were also extremely good. Very well worth a visit.
