Once again a stunning roast beef dinner.
Its 5.50pm and the weather is terential rain, were driving back from Basingstoke to fleet and thought it would be safer for us to stop here for dinner and wait for the rain to pass however I was greeted with we dont take children under 7 on Friday and Saturday evenings. Now, I totally understand people find it irritating having children out when they are trying to enjoy a quite meal out together nonetheless both my 2 and 5 year old are very well behaved and as its still early I thought they would be able to accommodate us, at least until 7:30pm which is when most people dine out. Instead we are dining at the leather bottle which kindly accept children.
Good food and service for standard pub prices. Not a great location if your looking for a garden since the main road is right next to you but not much they can do about that :)

Great food and service, surprisingly busy for a Tuesday evening. Be careful with the tables, some had reservations clearly marked whilst some didn't yet were also reserved. Lucky there was additional bar seating that served us well. The path back to the nearby Britannia country hotel is incredibly dark!
