Lovely afternoon tea. We had high tea with mulled wine, which was gorgeous followed by a wander around the illuminated gardens. It was rather chilly (as it should be at this time of year) but it was fab.
Nice place to hang out. Good cafe. Great if you are local. To small to make a day out. Easy to get to of the A30. Near to Hartley Whitney which is a nice village with cafs and pubs. We use our National Trust cards so there is no entry fee.
Beautiful gardens and lake to walk around and enjoy. The Christmas Market is worth a visit for lots of lovely decorations. We also visited the tea room which is beautiful and the cake and tea was a nice way to warm up after our walk.
Lovely garden easy to walk around not too large. Some interesting little garden rooms or areas to discover including a chicken coop! In the summer the planting is delightful. Very restful place. Parking good. Picnics are encouraged in the orchard. Welcome drink obtained at the little tea room. Highly recommended.
What a gorgeous natural garden! We visited today with friends who live near by and they knew we would love it! The tea room is very nice too but on the day we visited the boiler was ever so slightly on the blink!
